Refund Policy

Because many 1099 Designs products are custom-made or personalized specifically for each customer, all custom and personalized sales are generally final once production has begun.

Custom & Personalized Orders

Before production begins, customers will receive a proof for approval when applicable. It is the customer’s responsibility to carefully review all spelling, names, dates, artwork, placement, and other design details before approving the proof.

Once a proof has been approved and production has begun, custom or personalized items cannot be canceled, returned, or refunded due to customer error, change of mind, or incorrect information that was approved on the proof.

Changes & Cancellations

If you need to change or cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible.

If production has not yet started, we will do our best to accommodate changes or cancellations. Once production has begun, changes or cancellations may no longer be possible.

Our Mistakes

If we make an error in production that does not match the approved proof or order details, we will make it right.

Depending on the situation, this may include:

  • Replacing the affected item

  • Reproducing the item correctly

  • Issuing a partial or full refund

Please contact us promptly and include clear photos of the issue.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and include photos of both the product and packaging.

We will review the issue and determine the appropriate replacement or refund.

Damage caused by normal wear, misuse, improper care, or customer handling is not considered a manufacturing defect.

Non-Custom Items

Non-personalized retail merchandise may be eligible for return if it is unused, unworn, and in its original condition.

Please contact us before returning any product so we can confirm eligibility and provide return instructions.

Original shipping charges are generally non-refundable unless the return is the result of an error by 1099 Designs.
